Dt Collagen created a day cream/moisturizer that is safe and non pore clogging. It is light and gentle enough for everyday use and perfect for layering under makeup. SPF moisturizers are something I can only ever find in SPF 30, and they are ALWAYS tinted for whatever reason! I am not a big makeup wearer, so sometimes I'd rather not even have my moisturizer/SPF necessity be tinted. To my surprise, this ANTI-AGING (talk about a BONUS!) has little to no scent! Is SPF 50! And has NO TINT! That is hard to come by. The scent is a clean, yet barely there smell, similar to a regular sunscreen but much, much lighter. It goes on very light and absorbs quickly into the skin. The scent does not linger or last, and it is not oily or sticky like most sunscreen. It is a very lightweight formula which I really like about it because it allow you to layer it on multiple times throughout the day is need be. It is hydrating but not over powwering or heavy adn creamy like some moisturizers. This specific type of product is hard to come by and I love it. I have very few complaints, however, it is not perfect. I don't think it is strong enough on its own, as just a stand alone moisturizer, but it is definitely one to layer over a very light day time moisturizer following your original morning skincare routine. The consistency is similar to that of a light moisturizer. Not too thick and creamy and not too heavy, but it is also not too watery. It is just light and loose enough that it doesn't have that sticky, thick sunscreen residue feeling that most sunscreen's do. My only complaint about the packaging is that I have to bang the bottom on the counter a few times before every use to get the product to come out. I am not sure if mine is just a faulty bottle, or if it is like that with every bottle and is a packaging fault. When it comes to product amount, I'd say abut 2 full pumps is pretty good for full coverage of the face and neck; three pumps if you're including your decloté. So far this is my favorite light weight facial sunscreen! SPF 50 and no tint, plus it is unscented... that is hard to beat in my books! I am a cosmetologist and licensed makeup artist for about 8 years now, coming up on a decade! And I have come across many different skin types. Prepping the skin before a makeup application or leading up to a big event such as your wedding day, can be extremely stressful! This dermatologist anti-aging formula is extremely light and airy on the skin! It goes on slightly creamy consistency, not quite heavy enough, I'd say, to call it a night cream, compared to what you'd expected, so you know it won't clog your pores right off the bat. Will it do enough? That is where I am left debating. I put it on at night and 15 minutes later I found myself thinking, "Wait did I forget to put on moisturizer?" So I already knew for me, that it is a strong enough moisturizer. Maybe for the day, but DEFINITELY not for the night. That's just my personal opinion. This is how I know it is GREAT for sensitive skin clients. I let my boyfriend try it, and he is 28 almost 29 years old and doesn't use ANY skincare products (GASP....men) but I let him try it because of how light it was and he was feeling brave (and lightly dry since we've been sleeping with the heat on) But he swears ANY and ALL skincare products no matter the kind or what they say make him break out. Here is his experience: "It didn't make me feel oily or breakout! A little goes a long way! At least for me(him). It goes on smooth and absorbed into my (his) skin very quickly and was extremely light weight! It smells very clean with a very mild scent, but little to no scent. The next day I (he) felt even better! I (he) had a glow to my (his) face that I (he) usually doesn't, but it was more of a matte glow with no shine and no oil, which I've always noticed when using other products." He loves it and is getting some for himself! He also occasionally steals the exfoliating wash and uses that. But I won't let him get his hands on the SPF 50 day time moisturizer. So I believe this product is versatile. Although it says night cream, I personally would layer it under the DT COLLAGEN SPF 50 moisturizer before applying my makeup or just going out for the day if I skip my makeup routine. I do not have sensitive skin. I have normal and very occasionally oily depending on the product, I've noticed, (or around that time of the month )For sensitive skin, this is obviously the perfect night cream, or even if used lightly, for the daytime! I wouldn't doubt using sparingly, it will take care of any left over dryness.. let's say from maybe a wild festive night the night before where you couldn't utilize your nightly skincare regimen....We've all been there. Or if you just need a little extra moisture, because it's that time of the year or you keep your heat on too high. (Guilty) Overall, I've had a great experience with DT COLLAGEN Ant-Aging night cream.
