Dt Collagen created a day cream/moisturizer that is safe and non pore clogging. It is light and gentle enough for everyday use and perfect for layering under makeup. SPF moisturizers are something I can only ever find in SPF 30, and they are ALWAYS tinted for whatever reason! I am not a big makeup wearer, so sometimes I'd rather not even have my moisturizer/SPF necessity be tinted. To my surprise, this ANTI-AGING (talk about a BONUS!) has little to no scent! Is SPF 50! And has NO TINT! That is hard to come by. The scent is a clean, yet barely there smell, similar to a regular sunscreen but much, much lighter. It goes on very light and absorbs quickly into the skin. The scent does not linger or last, and it is not oily or sticky like most sunscreen. It is a very lightweight formula which I really like about it because it allow you to layer it on multiple times throughout the day is need be. It is hydrating but not over powwering or heavy adn creamy like some moisturizers. This specific type of product is hard to come by and I love it. I have very few complaints, however, it is not perfect. I don't think it is strong enough on its own, as just a stand alone moisturizer, but it is definitely one to layer over a very light day time moisturizer following your original morning skincare routine. The consistency is similar to that of a light moisturizer. Not too thick and creamy and not too heavy, but it is also not too watery. It is just light and loose enough that it doesn't have that sticky, thick sunscreen residue feeling that most sunscreen's do. My only complaint about the packaging is that I have to bang the bottom on the counter a few times before every use to get the product to come out. I am not sure if mine is just a faulty bottle, or if it is like that with every bottle and is a packaging fault. When it comes to product amount, I'd say abut 2 full pumps is pretty good for full coverage of the face and neck; three pumps if you're including your decloté. So far this is my favorite light weight facial sunscreen! SPF 50 and no tint, plus it is unscented... that is hard to beat in my books! First it contains an spf 50 sunscreen that protects the skin from UVB and UVA rays, preventing burns, premature aging, lines, and wrinkles. Personally I prefer to use an spf that is already in my day cream as I hate the feeling of too many layers on my skin. I am just getting familiar with this brand in recent months and I like it. Their facial cleanser is amazing, so I figured this day cream/sunscreen would knock it out of the park also. Well they definitely did when it comes to ingredients and what they do, such as Vitamin E and lactic acid to name a couple. As a moisturizing day cream, I'm getting amino acids and proteins that stimulate Collagen growth and who doesn't love Collagen when your trying to keep that youthful look. It helps with fine lines and man do I hate those. It definitely helps with skin elasticity because after some time of use I could feel tightening, that was great. The one con I have about this product is , as a sunscreen. It's wonderful that it has an SPF of 50 with all the benefits of the day cream but you have to reapply every 2 hours for it to be affective and that's a bit inconvenient to me. The DT Collagen Anti-Aging Day Cream SPF-50 is so lightweight! As an Esthetician who is always on the go, an all in one cream with a high spf is so important to me. I have beautiful brown skin and anything with spf usually leaves a terrible white residue on my skin. The DT Collagen Day Cream does not!It is so lightweight and absorbs so perfectly into my skin.After I have washed, dried, toned and moisturized my face-I then put on the spf. I use 1-2 small pumps of the cream. I then apply all over my face and neck. I reapply midday if I feel I need to.I like that this product also does not have that typical, medicinal spf scent that they sometimes do. This cream has a very nourishing and refreshing feel.
